PPKUKM-OJK Holds Food and Beverage Sanitation Hygiene Training

The Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency together with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) is holding a virtual training with theme of Food and Beverage Sanitation Hygiene, Wednesday (8/2).

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency's Digital Creative Industry Division Acting Head Fajar Bambang Jatmiko disclosed the virtual training was open to Jakpreneurs assisted by various regional working units (SKPD) under Jakarta Provincial Government.

He said the applicants reached 295 people and about 195 people were selected after passing through the verification stage.

"The training we provide is food and beverage sanitation hygiene training. The training speakers for this training are from the Jakarta POM Center," he expressed.

He hoped that participants could carry out quality control activities independently and could complement the facilities and infrastructure related to the hygiene aspects of food and beverage sanitation.

This aimed to prevent the risk of food contamination in a bid to avoid food poisoning.

"By doing so, we hope they can produce food and beverages that are hygienic in terms of quality and quality thus they are safe for consumption," he hoped.
